It was perfect. Service was quick and friendly.
Very good food, an exceptionally extensive range with a selection of the cuts of meat at the counter, good dry aged offers / fillets or all kinds of beef steaks You get the meat fried to the point exactly as ordered! The taste is really very good! In terms of price, unfortunately, absolute upper class Around € 60-90 per dish with side dishes It's a shame that at least the side dishes are not mandatory and included!

Amazing steak (perfectly cooked and seasoned). Really cool to be able to pick out your cut. Sides were really good as well.

Very good steaks! Classes better than the relevant steakhouse chains. You can choose your steak directly at the meat counter. The side dishes and sauces are also very good. The waitresses are very nice. However, the prices are pretty steep, even by Munich standards.
Avarice is definitely not cool here !! Great location, great staff paired with excellent food. Certainly not for the small budget but it is worth every penny here. Again any time
You don't have to say anything more about the meat, nothing to be desired. All in all, a successful evening thanks to a cozy atmosphere, nice staff and great food
Really very tasty meat that you can choose yourself at the counter. It is costly to eat here and is definitely nothing if you are low on budget, but I have rarely eaten meat this good.

A very good steak restaurant with outside seating. The great thing is that before you order you have to go inside and select what kind of meat you want, how much of it and how it should be done very good way to select how much you want to have for the meal. Service was also great!
Really scrumptious steaks, sides and sauces. Tender, juicy and tasty, cooked exactly as ordered. Fabulous wines. Excellent service, too! Reasons I'm only giving four stars: 1) this place is ridiculously expensive, even by Munich steakhouse standards. 70€ for a 300g rib-eye with two sides and a sauce, not including drinks, is just over the top. 2) In this day and age, I'd prefer a selection of local / regional beef, instead of the (albeit excellent!) US and Irish options. Beef is an environmental disaster as it is, but having it shipped from abroad doesn't seem appropriate anymore. Besides, I KNOW local beef such as Murnau-Werdenfelser is just as tasty. ?
Basically nice restaurant with a well-stocked meat selection. On the first visit, my fillet steak was stringy / flaky, so I assumed an individual case and on the second visit did NOT want to confirm the first negative experience. But even on the second visit, the meat was streaked with tough fat / vessels, so that the piece had to be sawed rather than cut and absolutely rare instead of medium. Even with my company, the cooking level was anything but good. That shouldn't happen in this upscale price range and in a restaurant specializing in steaks! Since the poor quality of the meat and obviously also the preparation was not an isolated case, I refrain from further visits to the KVR and unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant under any circumstances!

Yes, it wasn't bad as the Swabian says. But the good piece of meat was just too sinewy to play in my Premier League. Maybe I was just unlucky with my piece that was cut off?
Meat top, you can / must choose and can order the amount down to the gram digit. Good service, only starters could have been a bit more but very good value for money
Beware! Other guests stole my belongings (and yes I mention it after I recognized it, this is rather a critique about the clients of this restaurant)! Steak was mediocre (for the price). Also make sure you order 50 grams less than you actually want. In our group the cuts were on average 50 grams bigger, which you pay. Yes, you could refuse the first cut, but who does it with a cue of other guests behind him. Also it was not a single case as mentioned above. Besides, how could you say you were personally at our table and haven't received a critique, as (a) you can't know which table I was sitting at and (b) we did mention that steaks were not cooked as ordered. Anyway, interesting response of a restaurants manager...
It's not a cheap place, but it's worth every penny. They have a lot of respect for their product and that shines through in the taste. Best steaks in Munich.
Good quality meat. You like to pay a little more for that. Side dishes are also excellent! Always happy to come back.
Delicious steak, and the sides were great too. The veal snitzel was also delicious, but of course the first choice would be prime steak!
The food is really good. Unfortunately, the operation was very unfriendly and incompetent and inattentive. She didn't even look us in the eye. We wanted to eat a little finer, but we didn't assume that the friendly climate would suffer.
I visited Munich about a year ago and was brought to KVR as a farewell dinner. I was just watching a cooking show where they made steak, and it reminded me of the incredible meal I had a year ago. I mentioned it to my husband and he laughed, saying that he periodically thinks about the dry aged steak he had (I'm the one who usually thinks about food, so that's a huge indication of what a truly memorable experience it was). I wish there was a location in Canada so I could go more often

Amazing selection of meat! Nice format, like choosing meat from the butcher. Maybe just a bit on the pricy side but worth it!
A nice cozy place with friendly people. The meat was very good. The meat is chosen from the meat display cases and then grilled according to your wishes. Side dishes were very good. The dessert was good but unfortunately a bit too cold so only 4 out of 5 stars. But can only recommend the KvR.

Service is acceptable but not friendly. The real problem here is the meat. They must have a low quality supplier. I had to laugh about the quality when I took the first bites. Avoid it if you can.
Despite a reservation on a Tuesday night, I was very disappointed with the table we were offered. We were blocked in by other guests and sat bar style. The steak was "done" perfectly and just as I ordered it, but the quality and tenderness was disappointing, especially for the price. The service was friendly and accommodating, that was a plus. The rating is mostly due to my disappointment with the steak. I don't see myself going here again, but rather to other Munich steakhouses instead.
Great steak
The food is very tasty. They are very good in what they focus on (meat). The waiter was also very friendly. Not five stars, because there are longer waits for the waiter and when you go to the meat station to decide, what piece of meat to get. The system could definitely be improved (e.g. not getting a receipt from the meat station and then giving it to the waiter)...

Omaha t-bone steak was ordered. İ wanted rare. The meal was serviced late and was full of nerves. The taste is not that amount of money. My worst yes worst meal i’ve had during my Münich holiday.
Go to the meat counter, get friendly with your butcher and then choose your cut. Soups, salads and sides all beautifully crafted. Enjoy! Prost!

American rib eye was very tasty. Dry age was too dry. 8 weeks are too long. Would hope for nicer environment and fancier tableware for that price.
